Improved Circulation: Enhanced blood flow supports your body’s healing process

Stress Reduction: Feel calmer and more relaxed as your nervous system unwinds.

Increased Flexibility: Enjoy better flexibility and a greater range of motion in your joints.

Better Sleep: Regular massages can help improve your sleep patterns.

Enhanced Mood & Well-being: The endorphin boost during a massage can lift your mood and overall well-being.

“Here at the Spinal Care Clinics, you have been so professional, knowledgeable and friendly – plus a great listener. Without your help, support and skills I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today; painfree, more mobile, have more strength, positivity and feel in control of life in general again.”

“When I first came to the clinic my neck was very painful and I constantly needed to move around as it hurt when I sat still for long periods of time. My treatments and massages have been fantastic and I am hardly ever in pain anymore. All of the SCC staff are so friendly and accomodating. I always feel very welcome whenever I visit.”

“I attended the clinic following a positive review from my daughter. I had been suffering from a painful neck and shoulder. Following my first treatment I have felt such an improvement and now I have completed the course I am completely pain free. I can’t thank them enough.”

“After 3 years of hospital treatment, with no joy, I was told by my chiropractor what the problem was and how he was going to help! After only 7 weeks of treatment I am able to walk unaided and no longer need the drugs (Which I was told can destroy your nervous system) provided by the hospital! Unbelievable progress!!”

Aftercare tips

Water
is your post massage best friend. Drink plenty.

Rest & Relax
Don’t rush back into normal life. Take it easy and skip high impact activity for the best result.

Avoid Caffeine & Alcohol
and you will feel fab. Both are dehydrating and won’t help your body to eliminate the toxins.

You May Feel…
some discomfort, mild pain or experience light bruising for couple of days after your deep tissue massage. This is a normal reaction and part of the healing process. Some residual soreness, mild headache, increased urination and thirstiness are all common after effects of a good massage.

Feeling pain?
You can use ICE PACK or soothe sore muscles in a BATH. If you’re worried, get in touch with your massage therapist.

We know how much you want to hold onto that fabulous feeling after a massage and with the above tips you should be able to.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to remove all my clothes?

You will be asked to remove only the clothes that you’re comfortable removing. It’s entirely up to you.  You will be fully draped throughout the entire bodywork session.

How to receive a massage?

You just need to relax, taking deep and regular breaths, allowing your body to become heavy and sink into the table.  As the therapist’s hands locate areas of tension, you’ll be asked to release and relax those areas.  We create a meditative space between you and the therapist.

Express your emotions

If emotions surface, don’t be afraid to express them.  It’s natural for emotions to arise during massage and you’ll feel the benefits if you can release and allow the therapist to work through them.

Closing your eyes may help heighten your sense of touch.  Closing your eyes during massage can help take the focus from your head and into your body.
