Nancy – Weekend leader

I’m excited to introduce myself as Nancy Eagle, your personal trainer and host for the upcoming wellness retreat.

In addition to ensuring your comfort throughout the long weekend, I’ll be serving as your rehabilitation specialist, guiding you through postural correction exercises and core activation routines aimed at enhancing your day-to-day functionality.

I look forward to meeting each of you and embarking on this transformative journey together!

Cori – Yoga teacher

Hi, I’m Cori and I’ll be your yoga teacher and massage therapist at this weekend retreat!

Yoga taught me to pay attention to how “I feel – mind and body” – when I move in postures. I developed and integrated all the anatomy that came my way, wanting to understand my body better. I studied other forms of therapy becoming a massage therapist, reflexology, therapeutic massage, fascia massage and other forms of alternative massage. In the last 5 years my journey with yoga post-breast cancer has taught me patience and the importance of adapting movements for different bodies. I’m looking forward to celebrating life with you on this retreat.

Ronen – Yoga teacher & Lifecoach

Hey there, I’m Ronen, and I can’t wait to dive into a weekend of wellness with each and every one of you at our special retreat in Suffolk.  Picture this: gentle movements, calming mindfulness practices, and a whole lot of positive vibes coming your way, courtesy of my 20+ years of experience as both a chiropractor and a yoga teacher. Yep, that’s me!

This weekend isn’t just about stretching your muscles; it’s about re-connecting with yourself on a deeper level and setting the stage for a fresh start on your journey toward health and happiness. So, let’s roll out those mats, take a deep breath, and get ready for an unforgettable experience together.

A Day at the Retreat

As the golden rays of the morning sun gently peek through the curtains, you awaken to the soothing sounds of nature surrounding you.

It’s 7 am, and the day at our retreat begins with a harmonious blend of Gentle Yoga and a short meditation led by our experienced yoga teachers, Cori & Ronen. With each stretch and breath, you feel the tension of yesterday melting away, replaced by a sense of calm and serenity.

After the session, it’s time to fuel your body with a healthy, nourishing shake followed by a delicious plant-based breakfast, prepared with love and care. With your appetite satisfied, you step outside to bask in the tranquillity of our garden, where the vibrant colours and fragrant blooms greet you warmly.

Feeling rejuvenated and inspired, you have the option to join a short meditative walk or simply unwind in our cosy living room or dip into the hot tub, chatting with friends and soaking up the serene atmosphere, exchanging stories and laughter

After a light lunch, it’s time to delve deeper into your practice with a breathing and Kundalini yoga session led by Cori, our amazing yogi. Feel the energy coursing through your body as you flow through each pose, connecting with your inner self and the world around you.  If you still have the energy to spare (or simply want to feel young again!), join a gentle exercise class led by the dynamic Nancy, or simply relish in the beauty of your surroundings, engaging in heartfelt conversations with newfound friends.

As the day draws to a close, gather with your fellow retreaters for a sumptuous dinner, savouring each bite and sharing in the joy of good company. Then, slip into loose white clothes and let loose at our Intuitive body-movement dance party, where inhibitions fade away and pure bliss takes over.

And so, as you retire to your room, filled with gratitude for the day’s experiences, you can’t help but smile, knowing that tomorrow holds even more magic and possibility. What an unforgettable day indeed!

  • £650 for Early Birds that joined the waiting list before 30/9/24
  • £700 from 1/10/24 onwards
  • £750 for en-suite room for 2

*The cost is based on single occupancy in a shared room for two individuals.
Enjoy a £50 discount per person when sharing a room with two others.

*The price includes a full board, with coffee, tea, and snacks available throughout the day.
As well as 30 min therapeutic massage, gentle chiropractic energetic healing, all sessions and the use of the hot tub.

* The price does not cover transportation to and from the retreat location.
The journey from the clinic takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Will I be sharing a room?

Yes, our team will take the time to allocate you to a room with the appropriate individual who is most suitable to you.

What type of food will we be eating?

All meals will be vegetarian. We will start the day with a nourishing breakfast, followed by a light lunch and then a wholesome dinner packed with protein and goodness! Fruit will be available at all times. Please know, you will not go hungry!

How do I get there?

Car shares will be on offer for individuals who do not wish to drive. If you are going to be driving alone, please be reassured that there is plenty of parking on location, also including electric charging port for cars if needed.

What is a wellness retreat?

A wellness retreat is a getaway focused on improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being through various activities, therapies, and holistic practices.

Who can attend a wellness retreat?

Anyone looking to improve their health and well-being can attend, regardless of age or fitness level!

What should I expect during a wellness retreat?

Expect a combination of activities such as yoga, meditation, treatments, nutritional counselling, and workshops on wellness topics. The schedule will include time for relaxation and personal reflection.

What type of accommodations are available?

Accommodations will be shared rooms of up to 2 people, with the premises also offering comfortable lodging with amenities designed to enhance relaxation and comfort.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable clothing suitable for yoga and fitness activities, swimwear for hot tub, personal toiletries, and any prescribed medications. Please ensure you bring your own towels, if not there will be an additional fee for you to borrow from the premises. (A packing list will be provided by the retreat before the weekend.)

What types of activities are included?

Activities will include yoga, meditation, Pilates, nature walks, cooking classes, wellness workshops, and treatments. Check the specific retreat itinerary for details.

Are the activities mandatory?

Participation in activities is usually encouraged but not mandatory. You are free to choose the activities that interest you and align with your wellness goals.

Do I need to have prior experience in yoga or meditation?

No prior experience is necessary. Retreats are designed to accommodate all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

Can I attend a retreat alone?

Absolutely. Many people attend wellness retreats alone to focus on personal growth and self-care. It’s a great way to meet like-minded individuals.

Is there an early bird discounted fee?

Yes, if you book before 30th September 2024 the price is £650 per person. £700 per person after October 1st 2024.

Can I get a discounted rate if I come as a couple?

Yes, if you book as a couple there is a discount of £100.

What if I have allergies / special food requirements

You will be contacted by Nancy prior to the retreat and we can cover any special requirements then.

Is there a Refund Policy?

Yes, we offer a 50% refund before the 31st August & then it is non refundable after this date.

Is there a charger for an electric car?

Yes, there is a small charge – £15.00 per charge, per car. Please bring your own extension leads and ‘hook up.
